Using Gridline
The demo company
A populated, read-only company you can explore without signing up.
Want to see Gridline before you sign up? The demo company is a fully populated company you can explore with one click. It is read-only, so nothing you do changes anything for anyone else.
Open it
Go to the sign-in page
Or the home page.
Choose Explore the demo
You are signed in as the demo company's admin, with no password. A banner across the top reminds you it is read-only.
What is in it
- A company on the Basic plan with an admin and three employees.
- Six CSV files with real quality reports, one of them restricted to a few people.
- A few quality rules, so reports show a score and a failure.
- An invoice and an audit trail.
The files are stored and checked by the same engine as any company's. The reports are real, not mock-ups.
What it will not do
Every change is refused, with a message that explains why: uploads, edits, invitations, plan changes, new API keys and rules. Reading is open everywhere. Every button is still there, so you can see what each one does: choosing one shows that message instead of making the change.
From code
Developers can open the demo from code too: POST /auth/demo (no body) answers with a session, exactly like signing in. See Authentication for what to do with it.
